The Inter-Madrasa Cricket League for Peacebuilding and Social Cohesion in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was implemented by IRCRA, in collaboration with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Pakistan (UNODC) and NACTA, with financial support from the European Union (EU). This pioneering initiative brings together youth from religious seminaries (madrassas), interfaith and intrafaith representatives, and mainstream universities, creating a unique platform where sport serves as a vehicle for dialogue, mutual respect, and unity. By leveraging the power of cricket—a shared national passion—this project builds bridges between institutions, fosters interfaith harmony, and empowers young people to become ambassadors of peace within their communities.
