Highlights
Conducted Capacity Strengthening Workshops on “International Humanitarian Law” , “Citizen Protection Laws (CPLs)” and “International Humanitarian Norms” in line with baseline surveys
Developed “Social Media Platforms Awareness Campaign” on the themes of “Covid 19” and “Healthcare in Armed Conflict”
Produced posters, flyers, and booklets for police stations, government institutions, communities, seminaries, and educational institutes
Conducted five Civil Society Organization (CSO) Trainings
Organized Regional Conferences, Community Engagement Activities, Peer 2 Peer Sessions and Consultative Workshops with a focus on youth engagement and their role in peace building
The initiatives allowed for communication between government officials and institutions in Khyber, Mohmand, and Peshawar, as well as civil society, media, tribal, religious, and youth leaders, field specialists, humanitarian consultants, and political and social activists. Northwest Pakistan’s communities, local governments, and combat forces raised their awareness and understanding of international humanitarian rules, created a safe place for constructive debate on humanitarian issues, used safe channels, and developed a culture of peaceful cooperation.
